Heather Kreager, DVM
Dr. Kreager earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Minnesota-Duluth. During those years of undergraduate study, she also spent time working at the Lake Superior Zoo and volunteering with the local humane society and animal shelter. Following graduation, Dr. Kreager continued to develop her skills while working as a technician and receptionist in a small animal clinic before attending veterinary school at the University of Minnesota. Following her graduation in 2007, Dr. Kreager worked for a progressive small animal clinic where she developed her ability and skills while training under an ABVP board certified practitioner.
Chalco Hills Animal Hospital opened in February of 2013. Away from the clinic Dr. Kreager stays very busy with her two young sons Braden and Ronan and of course the furry four legged members of the family, a little Italian Greyhound named Nurmi, and very mischievous cat named Zuli.
